Today, while many people spent the day at the gun show in Puyallup, I visited a gun store by the name of DJ’s Pawn, located in Bothell, WA. I was very impressed with the number of used firearms they have in inventory. Their prices seemed very competitive. If you are looking for a good used gun, or a difficult to find model, be sure to check out DJ’s. If you live in the south end, the drive is well worth it.

Today I went for a visit to the outdoor shooting range located in Ravensdale, Washington. I had driven by several times, but never taken the time to actually go down the long driveway and see what it was all about. Well, today was the day. Wow! What a great range! All of the people we met, volunteers, were very nice and made us feel right at home. The rifle and pistols ranges were large, extremely well maintained, and a we had a great morning shooting. Thank you to everyone we met there today, for making our visit so enjoyable. We will definitely be adding our name to the waiting list, and continuing to come out and shoot during public hours. You really do meet the nicest people at the range!

This is eye candy for sure, ladies! Two trips to the range, and I am quite pleased. $429.99 at the Marksman in Puyallup. This gun is very accurate, and easy to shoot. The sights are easy to see. Today at the range, I was helping a new shooter, and she tried the LC9. No problem! The slide is a little challenging for a beginner, but then again, it is a brand new gun. The trigger take up is long, as would be expected in this size and type of hand gun, but not too heavy. I am quite pleased, and would definitely recommend this pistol to any shooter. The size, weight, caliber and price make it the perfect concealment handgun. The LC9 can be purchased with lasermax laser, $419.99, or base model for $359.99. (But you will have to forgo the beautiful engraving!) The little sister to this model is the LCP, .380, and goes for about $50 less.
The next Women’s Clinic will be February 26th, 2012. We will start at 9:00am and the clinic will last approximately 4 hours. The tuition is $35 per person and enrollment is limited to 10 ladies.
