This is an 8 hour class for women. The focus of this class is to empower women to safely and effectively develop skills that lead to a safer personal lifestyle. Use of good situational awareness along with the safe and effective use of firearms is taught as part of an effective personal safety strategy. There is more to staying safe that just owning a gun. The skills taught in this class are invaluable for keeping you and your family safe. This class replaces our very popular 6 hour Handgun Fundamentals Class, and is enhanced with additional safety and firearm training skills.
We offer instruction from a women’s point of view, and all of our certified Instructors specialize in teaching women.

Choosing a gun can often be confusing and overwhelming. During this class you will be provided with an opportunity to try several different makes and models of handguns. We will provide one on one instruction to help you find the best fit for your individual needs.
The shooting portion of this class begins with .22lr handguns. This is followed by an introduction to .380 caliber, 9MM, and 38 special. Firearms and ammunition will be provided free of charge; and a 2:1 student to instructor ratio is maintained on the range at all times. Eye and ear protection are required and provided free of charge. Students should bring lunch, and paper and pen for note taking. At the completion of this class each student will receive a certificate and one complimentary Range Membership.
Teenager’s are welcome to attend when accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Pregnant and nursing women are not allowed to attend classes due to possible health risks.
